(Okay, so I sorta wanted them to go to a Hawaiian Island, but instead Ive had the simulation give them a Hawaiian-like Island paradise, secluded that only they live on. Second, this chapter is going to be very descriptive, not too story accelerating, just remember that the description isnt of any Hawaii Island in particular, one of my imagination. Enjoy!)
The black had gone, being replaced with a dull yellow/orange, as his eyes were closed, but Phineas other senses were taking in what was still a mystery. His ears, they were hearing a light breeze, seagulls flying about, squawking away, water, flowing closer, then further away, crashing down, then retreating again, someone talking, he thought, but dismissed it… His nose, he could smell, salt, in the very air, it was pleasant, peaceful, also, sniff, grass, that grass smelled nothing like the grass in Danville, he couldnt believe that the simulation was this good… His hands, they moved around, feeling for something, they found something, at least the left one did. The right hand felt through the ground, it was so grainy, but he could feel the grass he was smelling as well, he must have been near a beach. His left hand moved for a bit, but hit something, a cylindrical object, could be a tree, he guessed. As his hand moved further up the tree, feeling grooves in it, he deduced it was a palm tree, so different from that tree in the backyard, he moved further along from the tree and felt his hand brush along leaves, from what he couldnt guess, but they were so soft, like touching them was soothing alone… His mouth, he hadnt opened it since he was surrounded by the light, just like his eyes, he breathed through his nose, but now, he figured he should open it, see if it still worked. He opened his mouth and took a deep breath through it, he could taste the same salt that his nose smelled, it was so nice, he could get used to a place like this, he then decided to stick his tongue out, as the irrational kid in him wondered if there was any actual salt that he would be able to taste in the air. He stuck his tongue out, felt around, finding not salt, but presumably the same grainy ground that his right hand had felt, he pulled his tongue back into his mouth, taking some of the substance with him, SPLUTTER Ugh, sand! Phineas said, pushing himself off of the ground, opening his eyes for the first time since the light, though he didnt take in the sights at first, he simply focused on getting the sand, fine as it was, out of his mouth, taking about 2 minutes to do so.
